About

A backend engineer who went deep on networks, then on language models.

My core is Python — Flask, Django, FastAPI, REST APIs, the things that have to stay up. At Juniper Networks (via Calsoft) I work where that meets the network: Device Profiles, Interface Maps, and Logical Devices that automate configuration across thousands of multi-vendor devices on SONiC, NX-OS, and Junos.

Recently I built a Generative AI Configuration Impact Analyzer — it reads a proposed device config and predicts the downstream impact before rollout, so operators catch risky changes pre-deployment. I also shipped two internal Chrome extensions that the whole client dev team ended up using. I like tools that quietly remove a daily annoyance for everyone around me.

Outside work I ship a lot of open source — single-binary Go tools like a network monitor/firewall and a Gmail cleaner, plus Python automation. I'm fluent with AI-assisted development and self-host my own apps on AWS.

ProblemOperators need per-process network visibility and host firewalling without installing heavy agents or shipping traffic to a cloud service.
BuiltA single Go binary that captures packets, attributes every flow to its owning process, enriches IPs with GeoIP, renders a D3 force-directed network map, and runs a block/alert rule engine — all behind a live web UI reachable from any LAN device.
ResultZero-dependency, self-hosted monitoring on Linux, macOS and Windows: real-time bandwidth, hundreds of live flows, per-process usage, domains, alerts and on-demand PCAP capture.
